Action for Happiness: New Ways November.

Every month I share the Action for Happiness calendar, which is all about focusing on things that we value as key to our wellbeing.


This month’s theme is based on daily actions to help you find new ways of moving forward.


The calendar is packed with new things to learn or get involved in as the key to feeling happy and optimistic about the month ahead. The Dalai Lama famously said, “Happiness is not something ready-made, it comes from your own actions,” so take the opportunity to try out something new.


The calendar is jam packed with new things to try to help you continue to learn, develop and grow, so take the opportunity to refocus your attention and try something new. Whether it is a new way of connecting with others, uncovering a hidden talent, or devoting more time to a passion you have. My favourite from the calendar is “Try a new way to practice self-care and be kind to yourself.”

The Action for Happiness calendar prompts you to get involved in and make a difference not only in your own life, but to the lives of others. You can do this in many ways:

  • Take daily actions by downloading the calendar to your phone or computer using the Google or iCalendar file

  • Print the calendar as a PDF and stick on your fridge, bathroom mirror, desk.

  • Download the image and share on your social channels #NewWaysNovember
