This might mean trying new activities, ways of thinking or creating new habits. It involves focusing on what you can change, questioning the norm, having a growth mindset and shifting out of your comfort zone to try something new.
Taking the Dalai Lama’s lead – be intentional in your actions and have the courage to try something new – as a path toward achieving happiness!
It has been proven that individuals who have a growth mindset, instead of a fixed one, have the skills to identify and accept their strengths and weaknesses, and persevere in the face of challenges, ultimately overcoming setbacks to achieve their goals.
Treating yourself with self-compassion is also key, especially as we come out of lockdown, and develop new ways of being.
